UNLOCKING THE POWER OF TEAMWORK IN ANGANWADI CENTERS: MY EXPERIENCE AS A TRAINING CENTER PRINCIPAL
Abstract
As the Principal of an AWTC of Odisha state Government I have had the priviledge of observing and guiding numerous AWWs and AWHs in their journey to provide quality care and services to children and families. One crucial aspect that has consistently emerged as a key factor in their success is teamwork. The article "Unlocking the Power of Teamwork in AWCs: My Experience as Principal of AWTC" shares insights from the author's time as Principal of an Anganwadi Workers Training Centre (AWTC). It highlights the importance of teamwork among Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs) in ensuring the effective delivery of services such as child nutrition, early education, and health care. The author emphasizes how collaboration, communication, and mutual support among AWWs significantly improved service quality. The article concludes with key lessons on leadership, fostering team spirit, and empowering workers to handle community challenges collectively.
This article explores the significance of teamwork in Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and their role in fostering holistic early childhood development. By fostering teamwork, we empower AWWs to create more impactful interventions, improving the overall well-being of the communities they serve. The article concludes that strong teamwork, coupled with the right strategies and leadership, can transform challenges into opportunities for growth and success in Anganwadi Centers.
