ENHANCING DATA SECURITY THROUGH INTEGRATED ENCRYPTION AND COMPRESSION TECHNIQUES
Abstract
In today's digital era, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and efficiency of data transmission is crucial. Ensuring the security of data is paramount, and cryptography is essential for protecting confidential information. This comprehensive review paper meticulously analyzes the latest advancements in cryptographic techniques, including improvements to the Play fair cipher, the integration of cryptography with Steganography for smart devices, and the effectiveness of Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) in cloud computing. This research explores an integrated methodology combining digital random data generation, Diffie-Hellman key exchange, Huffman encoding for data compression, and AES encryption to achieve robust data security. The study evaluates the performance of these techniques based on encryption strength, data size reduction, and computational efficiency.
