A STUDY ON DISTRIBUTION NETWORK OF AJIT BAKERY IN NAGPUR CITY

Abstract

This study investigates the distribution network of Ajit Bakery in Nagpur City, focusing on its operational structure, effectiveness, and challenges faced in the delivery of products to its customers. The bakery, known for its diverse range of baked goods, has expanded its reach through a complex distribution system that involves multiple intermediaries and delivery channels. This research aims to analyze the logistics, supply chain, and distribution channels used by Ajit Bakery, including its sourcing of raw materials, transportation, and delivery methods. It also examines customer satisfaction, operational bottlenecks, and the role of technology in streamlining the network. Data was collected through surveys, interviews with the bakery's management and employees, and customer feedback. The findings indicate  that while the distribution network is generally efficient, there are areas for improvement, such as optimizing delivery routes and enhancing communication between suppliers and distributors. The study concludes with recommendations to improve the efficiency and scalability of Ajit Bakery's distribution network to meet the growing demands of the Nagpur market.
